Order Processing
All of our fabrics are cut to order from large rolls of fabric here in our warehouse. This does mean that dispatching an order isn’t as simple as taking an item from a shelf and packing it for a carrier.
Orders placed after 09:00 AM are likely to leave the next working day, however during busy periods it may take up to 3-5 working days to fully process your order. During times of ordinary operation, we will make every attempt to dispatch orders placed before 09:00 AM that same working day, but no guarantees are made.
All orders are subject to stock availability, and any inventory counts posted on our website should be taken as approximate and indicative only.
Urgent Orders
We are happy to consider specific, individual orders ‘urgent’ on a case-by-case basis. You should advise us of such orders as early as possible after placing your order.
Do not leave notes regarding the urgency of your order in the ‘Additional Information’ field at checkout. These order notes are not seen by the warehouse until they are processing your order, which during busy periods may be much too late.
Contact us separately via. the contact details in your order confirmation email.
Domestic (United Kingdom) Deliveries
For orders placed for delivery within the UK we may offer a range of delivery options and speeds depending on the size of your order, via. either Royal Mail or DX Express.
Please do be advised that any delivery times stated at checkout refer only to the speed of delivery once it has left our premises. Selecting a quicker delivery option will not affect the speed at which your order is processed by us, merely the speed at which it is delivered by the courier.
We will make every effort to ensure that goods are delivered by any date that we might specify, either on our website or in correspondence by telephone or email, but we cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.
Full tracking data for all orders (excluding samples, see below) will be provided once your order has been dispatched. This is an automated system, however, and can sometimes go awry, particularly where incorrect information has been provided. In such cases we can provide tracking details upon request.
Every attempt is made to keep delivery costs to a minimum, but occasionally orders will need to be dispatched rolled onto a core/tube. These tubes are 150 cm long, which severely limits the couriers that we have access to.
Where free UK delivery is offered, the offer may exclude rural Scotland and Highlands, as well as Northern Ireland. Our carriers charge a premium for deliveries to these locations, which regrettably we cannot cover.
International Deliveries
International consignments are quoted for on a case-by-case basis. Once your order has been picked, the parcels are weighed and measured, and we obtain a number of quotes from various couriers, before presenting you with the most affordable option.
At checkout we will collect a standard fee for delivery (£15.00 as of 5th March 2024). This is considered a deposit on carriage costs. If the actual delivery costs are greater, then we will issue a follow-up invoice for the balance.
Goods can only leave us once the carriage costs are paid in full.
If the amount we have taken at checkout covers the costs, or the difference is nominal, we will simply send the goods onto you as soon as possible.
International orders are dispatched DDU (Duty Unpaid), and any customs duties or taxes which may be payable are the sole responsibility of the person named on the delivery address and commercial invoices.
The courier, or your local customs authority, will be in touch with regards to any additional fees payable in order to release your order. If such fees are not paid within a reasonable time, as determined by the delivery courier or customs authority, then your order will likely be treated as abandoned. If your order returns to us then you will be refunded the money paid, less any delivery costs incurred by us. Whether to return the consignment to us, however, is at the discretion of the delivery company or customs authority.
We are not able to provide delivery ETAs for international orders, nor can we accept any liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.
Full tracking data for all orders (excluding samples, see below) will be provided once your order has been dispatched. This is an automated system, however, and can sometimes go awry, particularly where incorrect information has been provided. In such cases we can provide tracking details upon request.
Lost Orders
In some extraordinarily rare cases it may take up to 10 working days for your order to be delivered, and therefore we are not able to consider a refund for lost items until after this time has passed.
For international shipments we must allow for up to 30 working days.
